Today, more
than half of all students in higher education take courses on the Internet,
according to a study by Pew Research Center. This increase is largely
attributed to the fact that students can now work from home in addition to
their usual school schedules. An increasing number of colleges, universities
and vocational schools are also offering online courses to the general public.
An increasing number of employers also use online training tools to help their
employees reach new levels of performance and enhance job performance.
Online
education programs are designed for all types of learners, including students
who have little formal education, college students who require refresher
courses, and even career-minded adults with less than a bachelor's degree.
eCampus consists of a variety of online classes and services, such as online
courseware and online tutorials. The eCampus portal provides a platform through
which various online courses can be offered and accessed.
NCSC's
eCampus platform features a large collection of online courses and applications
designed specifically for all students. Students can select and take the
required lessons that meet their specific needs. By accessing a range of virtual
learning modules, students are able to access various online courses and study
at their own pace.
ECampus is
also responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining a range of online
courseware, such as modules that enable students to complete coursework in
interactive virtual environments. eCampus also maintains a database of online
courseware that can be purchased from third party vendors. Coursera and edX are
two of the largest providers of online courses. Other third party vendors
include edX and iStudiex.

built a unique technology platform that makes it easy for faculty and students
to take online courses with a single login and password. eCampus has developed
and supports an interactive and engaging content delivery platform that enables
students to interactively participate in online classes. Online instructors,
student support and course catalogs are delivered via interactive Web
technologies.

academic concepts, communicate with others at the same level of expertise, gain
new skills and information, and develop a greater interest in their chosen
academic field. Online education allows students to take advantage of the best
possible resources available at the time when they are most convenient for
them.
Online learning allows
students the flexibility to take courses at their own pace and with their own
pace. This flexibility enables them to study at their own pace, rather than
